Well I've been discharge 6/27 and only got 2 credit cards and 1 self lender loan
got approved for mission lane $1,000 19 AF
got it right after 341 meeting
and I got 3 statements so far
and I've been maxing it out & paying off instantly and if you call and verify payment posted to your bank they will release the funds faster so I did that like 4 or 5 times
and they increase my limit by $500 totaling $1,500 By 2th Statement
and also got credit one $300 sadly I know
When will mercury or ollo send me a invitation to apply really want them and also PenFed but don't know how long I got to wait for them
capital one was IIB and it keeps saying
sorry but past obligations
when trying to pre qualify
TU 679
EX 653
Experian 649
Rebuilding takes time slow and steady . If you get the Ollo invite they yes apply. I would skip mercury and any of the bottom feeders . Wait six months keep doing what you are doing with your current cards . At six month try the cap one again they are very forgiving .

Do you have a Credit Karma account? If not, sign up, it's a good way to get alerts when there are changes to your credit reports. And through CK is where I got my invite to apply for Ollo. I also got my invite for Mercury either through CK or through the free Experian account, I don't remember which one it was. I also had a CapOne that was IIB and they didn't approve me until 11 months post DC. Some have been approved sooner, some later, all you can do is keep checking their pre-qual page because it's not a HP on your credit.
As for PenFed, they approved my application 4 months post DC. Make sure you open a savings account with them and you can do that at any time. I opened mine 3 months post DC and then a month later I was approved for a card from them. Of course YMMV.
