Good evening all. Hope everyone is doing well. Log in to my Pacer account and viewed my discharge order. Super excited. Call my lawyer earlier he said he hadn't received anything yet. So maybe it's not completely official but still excited none the less. One part puzzled me on the pending status page it says case closed but when I click on terminated status it says awaiting closing. Any one knows what that means. Thanks always
Discharge and closing are two different things. You're officially "done" once your case is closed. I believe it can be reopened for a period up to 12 months...unless there is determined to have been fraud on your part in which I'm not sure the reopening parameters.
Congrats and best of luck going forward!
Discharge is probably one of the best feelings! Congrats, now on to the rebuild!
@DebtStinks @Mjhall85 Thanks. Definitely excited ready to start this new chapter and rebuild. I had mission lane and First Premier survive the bankruptcy. I called them and they assured me my accounts were fine. Now just have to get back my navy fed card and a installment loan and I'll be set
Well that's always nice those two stuck. I was happy getting back in with NFCU. I am just over 6 months discharge and my fico 8's are right around 650-660, I am hoping once my student loans rehab it will give me a little boost as that's my only derogatory on credit now besides bk7. For the installment you could do the self or the SSL with navy once you get back in.
Watch your mail box as you are probably gonna get bombarded with all kinds of offers lol
Congratulations!!!
