Re: Discharging Student Loans in Ch 7

UPDATE FROM MY PREVIOUS POST: I went to court on yesterday to be informed that I hadn't properly notified some of the concerned parties and the judge denied my Motion for Default Judgement. SO I am back to square one....after listening to the judge as well as the US Attorneys Office try to disuade me from continuing because of how hard it is to prove that you can't pay your student loans. I understand what they are both saying but I am drowning in this almost $80,000 and I have to reach for whatever hope there might be. So I got my Alias Summons and served everyone again to get this process started the correct way. The one thing that was helpful was that the judge stated that she would send out a list where I can get some free legal advice on the process and even recommended that I reach out to the Atlanta Bar Association or Atlanta Legal Aid to see if anyone there could help me.

Not going to lie, them talking was making me feel that feeling of "why bother" but I had to push through. Basically what it felt like they were saying was you'll never discharge it so why bother but I already owe it so what you are saying is that my circumstances won't change but I at least will know that I did everything that I could to free myself.
