Welcome @Anonymous . Your not going to get enough people to go after just another data mining site. Yeah it sucks privavcy is history these days. The owner posted on page 1. You want it removed. Your going to have to pay the price. Looks like no other way around it.
Once again, DocketBird does not charge a fee for removing cases from our website. We remove cases for free, and we do so all the time. Here is a link to our help document that describes the process:
We understand that some people get upset when they see their case on DocketBird. But please keep in mind that other people benefit from having their case on DocketBird; it enables them to easily follow the activity in their case. As some of you may have experienced, sometimes lawyers get busy and fail to update their clients about activity in their cases. DocketBird enables people to follow their cases to ensure things are proceeding as expected. If you don't want your records on DocketBird, then we'll remove your case at no charge once we receive your form.
For anyone who is not Docketbird: They keep sending out this message that they do not charge a fee. They did not for me after multiple nags but their website says they do, and they require personal ID information! Please check into this and do not be deceived by the reply. Also, they will give you multiple reasons why they believe Docketbird is useful and good. As a consumer, anyone who allows otherwise very confidential information that is to be accessed through the courts by authorized persons simply by the click of a name in Google, is not ethical or following any moral standards. We hope those at Docketbird will find a more meaningful profession. If you want to help in regards to the law, then work as lawyers for the indigent. If you are programmers, then work on ethical conservation projects. We are not intended to harrass or negate good works. We are simply telling the truth.

Yes its free to remove but your site doesnt say how long the free timeframe is to remove the listing. But if you pay the price:
"To immediately remove a case from DocketBird, scroll to the bottom of your case, and click on the link that says "Request removal." Then you can fill out a form to immediately remove your case.
When you select this option, we will also manually submit an expedited removal request to Google. There is a fee associated with this process because we have to submit these removal requests to Google manually. It is a multi-step process, and it often requires us to follow up with Google to make sure removal is completed. Google removal is guaranteed; if Google does not remove your case, we will issue you a full refund."
I have a website and all it takes is to go to Google Webmaster and remove the URL and then go to the the server and write the code to the header of the page which is done automatically on my site as <meta name="googlebot" content="noindex"> if I dont want any part of my site listed on Google. Takes 2 mins and Google doesnt charge a fee. Its not rocket science. I'm sure most want it remove asap and dont want to wait. And no I am not a data mining fan. Luckily in my state its against the state statue laws to list any first responders on these sites for our protection.
If you are getting constant complaints, there is your sign. How about, you don't post anything unless the person being named requests it. Or get lawyers to upload that info under a secure log in where only if the correct info in inputed it can be found. Not by a general search. You say you want to protect peoples privacy but then do exactly the opposite. For what? The small hand full of people who use it as a monitoring device. As far as I am concerned, it should be illegal to sell anyones info without express permission. No you must opt out, It should be that way no matter what and opt in should be voluntary and can be taken back at any time. Apparently you enjoy listing everyone elses demons out there, how about you list all your dirty laundry that you don't want people to know about. Cuz. Im sure one or two people would like to know all about you.
I'm not a fan of what DocketBird does so this is not a indorsement of them. But I will say I submitted a request to have my information removed. It was actually pretty painless. No money paid. It was quick and was removed as soon as I submitted my request.
I didn't do anything on my own about the DocketBird Google search result on my own. It toke about a week or so and the DocketBird search result was gone from Google search as well. I also went through during the months that followed my BK and cleaned up the rest of my Google search results. It toke about 6 months for my Google search results of my name to be fully clean. Like our credit scores it just takes time.
CEO of DocketBird here. I just wanted to give eveyone a quick update: DocketBird has implemented a quick and painless way to remove cases. Now you can remove your case in about two minutes. To do so, just find the docket sheet of your case, and click "Request Removal" at the bottom of the page for instructions. To be clear, this is 100% free.
We've always enabled people to remove their cases for free, by mailing in a form to verify their relationship to the case and to prevent hacking. But, we heard from a number of people that this process was too time-consuming and frustrating. I hope that this new system addresses those concerns.
We appreciate that you are providing clarification. Be it known, however, that when I and a few others tried to have our cases removed, there was a charge and you were asking for very personal, confidential data. If this is true, that you have set up a system by which people who have been wronged by your supposed company - that is, your decision to publically post our bankruptcy details without our permission, information that is available to legal professionals through confidential channels - then kudos. Let's hope no one else is harmed by your actions and your decision to make money off of people's misery. As I have said before, find a different profession. You guys are too educated and too smart to be choosing to publicize people's private financial information for the who world to search and see.
Uh, once again, your site did/does require sending money and submitting very personal documentation. You are coming off as a decent person doing decent work, but just reminding readers that you are exploiting their personal information. If you have changed your methods of deletion, okay, but there is a lot of work involved in getting any leftover signs of the damage done off of a basic google search. This is all from personal experience from a tech-y person.
