Experian states BK accts to go to positive status

As the title states, what does this mean?  One account is a credit union revolving credit card that I opened in 1994 and the other is a revolving home depot credit card that I opened in 2004.  The exact wording is "As of April 2015, this account is scheduled to go to a positive status."  The other CRAs don't make this statement in the Remarks/Status Details sections.   MY BK is to run until June 2013.

Since the account is going from a Neg to a Positive reporting in April 2015. Assuming your last 30day late was 7yrs ago (April 2008)

If that is correct, then the account will be reporting as Positive April 2015.

Even tho the other 2 CRA's don't have this remark listed, this account still should turn into reporting Positive.

CR's only shows late payments for 7yrs, after all the late payments drop off on there 7yr mark, then the account turns from reporting Neg to reporting as Positive. That's great news.Smiley Wink

Thank you LIGHTNIN for the good news.  After the seven years, what then?  I guess these accounts could be deleted from my CRs at anytime by the OCs?

Accounts typically report for (about) ten years after they are closed.  That often means several years of good reporting once the lates or baddies stop reporting (after 7 years).
