I finally consulted with an attorney, recommended that I file because of little income.

Anyway, case was officially filed on 10/17. Accounts are beginning to close. They say canceled by credit grantor according to my reports, is that normal or will they eventually report as IIB?

Your reports will be doing mexican hat dances up to 30 days after DC. It is the norm once filed. Sorry you had to go this route like many of us. But things will improve once its all done and over with and you start to rebuild again. Good Luck on your way to DC!
