Re: How to join NCFU and rebuild as a civilian the right way

Hi All,

Just wanted to give an update on my CLOC denial.  I got the letter over the weekend and sure enough the bankruptcy was the reason for the denial.  Not sure how to recon that so I figured I would just let it go.  Side note be sure to check your statement after signing up Navy League.  I was charged 3 times for my membership fee.

Freedom- When was your discharge date? Curious if the denied due to a past bankruptcy or one currently not discharged

Re: How to join NCFU and rebuild as a civilian the right way

My discharge date was 01/15 and from what I read, I requested the $15K. Probably a little ambitious for a limit but I was within the income range from what I saw.

I am actually closing my account at another bank and transferring the funds to Navy Federal, so I may go into a branch and speak with a Member Services representative to see about a review and a lower limit as a hail mary.

I would recon and ask for 2500 or less and be prepared to verify your income.
