Kay Jewelers

I had a bk discharged in 04 and Kay Jewelers was included in the bk.  How can they still "report" in 10/09?  It says included in the bk?  Are they able to do that?  Isn't that a derogatory hit?

Re: Kay Jewelers

All info related to the account PRIOR TO your BK filing is still reportable. However, the current balance should be $0/IIB, and any history (of lates, etc.) should have ceased from your filing date (unless, of course, the account remained open and you used it).

it shows that it is a 0 balance but in on my CR it says 02/09 reported.   What does that mean?

It simply means that the creditor last reported the account to the CRA(s) in February. They can, and probably will -- at least periodically -- report it until 7 years from its last activity, which probably was your BK discharge. So, it will likely drop off in 2011.
