Just an FYI for people looking for a new trade line, I was able to get a Kohl's card just 5 months after my BK7 discharge. And this was after they were one of the cards I had to burn in the filing. I didn't need the card, but while I was in the l-o-n-g checkout line with my daughter as we were buying a Christmas gift for DW, they were offering 35% off your first purchase so I thought WTH and I would try the pre-qual. It said that I was pre-qualified so I pulled the trigger and was approved for a $300 CL. Granted, it's not much, but considering that I burned them less than 6 months ago, I was pleasantly surprised. Probably won't use the card a lot, but a few times a year Kohl's gives out those 30% and sometimes even 40% discounts, so it could come in handy from time to time.
Of course as always, YMMV, but there is another option to consider.
