Re: My rebuild story :)

Scupra,

Congratulations on your new Chase card!!! That is fantastic!!! I wish my scores were where yours are.

I applied for Chase in December, 2014 and was declined due bankruptcy. It's ok since I have enough cards and over  $60,000 in available credit.

I bought a new Toyota and financed at 1.99. I had a 50 point drop on my EQ. I'm off to the garden untill Januarry 2016 or until all my scores go back above 720.

Life'a beach!!!

I have seen a couple lately around the 2 year mark. Actually is kind of why I went for it, wanted to provide some info for us BK'ers!

So THAT's why Chase declined me twice in the last 6 months... even with a request for a $500 Freedom like the one you got... still denied for BK despite the fact I have multiple $5-$10k cards from banks not named NFCU.

Not point in trying again next week when I hit 2 years... just gonna wait it out till the end of the year when everything falls off.

Grats on the card... watch the UTI on it.  Smiley Wink

Re: My rebuild story :)

So happy for you Scupra you too TRC_WA, both of you have done such a great job. I love reading your adventures with credit cards. I still just have my Discover, only card I have applied for, declined the miles card but doubled my limit on IT card. I can't be trusted so I'll just live through your postings😜

You will get a much better starting limit making it worth the wait Smiley Happy I am already waiting for a payment to post so I can begin using the card again :/ Blahh this is going to get annoying.

Indeed.  Now that I think about it I'm kinda glad I didn't get a $500 card... I'll wait and take my chances on approval later... LOL

I did see over in rebuild forums that people were getting 60 pt increases for a CO dropping.  Kinda makes me wonder if I just might see some massive 100 pt increases for the PR and IIB accounts falling off.

I got a card in the mail yesterday... envelope appeared like it was junk mail.

I opened it and it was a $5 gift card for Starbucks in a nice pretty Discover greeting card.

Rather have another CLI...
