Need info about Verizon Wireless if anyone can help.

So, I've never had Verizon Wireless, I never missed any payments on anything ever until I filed for BK7. I currently have post paid cell service but my Police Dept has a great deal with Verizon and I was looking to switch. Does anyone know how this would affect my credit score? I'm pretty sure they are going to do a hard pull and then I don't even know if they would approve me. I would be bringing my own phones that are paid in full and compatible with the network. So, a week post DC should I just not try to switch even though it would save me money or would the hard pull and or denial hurt me even more?

They will 100% HP you. How that will affect you? I don't know.

I'm not sure either. I'd really like to save some more money, but I'm really not willing to risk a big ding on CR. Quandary, I suppose.

If the Dept has their own link to sign up for service. Use it. My credit wasnt that great when I switched from No-Mobile. I used my county e-mail address and they sent a link to that to verify the 22% discount. I would have had to pay a $400 deposit per a friend that owns a Wireless Zone for Verizon. I avioded that and got service. Yes they will pull EQ but 1 inq isnt much to wory about. Its mean nothing after 1 year and it isnt looked upon as a credit card inq would. I believe mine stated telecommunications. But dont quote me. Good Luck!

Well I just ran my 3B. I know it was a little early after DC but all accounts showing 0B IIB, so that is good. EQ is 624, TU 573, EX 615. Maybe I'll keep my crappy mobile plan for a while longer instead of risking lowering whichever bureau they check. Stinks, but it is what it is for now.
