I was just under the means test, but I have "too many assets" and etc.

I had/have 12 titled vehicles, only 1 lien on one of the titles, when i did my Ch . 7 BK  asset case.  I bought all of them back from the trustee except for the 1 titled vehicle that was repo-ed.

I know it's too late for you now, but man, after reading your story in other threads, i wish you would have been able to have gotten an attorney that would've gotten your 7 through.

You'll be fine though.  $180 month and a house in 12 months, pfft...no problem!

@twono - Appreciate your feed back, I wish as well.  I'm just trying to clean up my reports the best I can, document everything, and save.  Once my MOC and confirmation hearing is over, I'll get the secured card, be added as AU's on my family's accounts, and pray my scores are around 640 this time next year.

I agree. Once I decided to file for bk,  I stopped paying credit cards except for my student loans and began to have a relationship with cash.  The cash I saved from not paying debts that were going to be discharged  put me in such an excellent position for wealth management.  Not paying credit cards did not hinder my rebuild which was quick seamless.  I have continued my wealth management strategy as I'm now 21 months post bk discharge.  Filing for bankruptcy is a time to reflect and strategize by developing good money management skills.

So by not paying monthly credit card minimum payments for a month or 2 prior to filing, leap frogged you into 'wealth management'?  How much 'wealth' were you able to acquire by in those few months?
