Re: Post Discharge Credit Apps

Thanks. Unfortunately I burned a lot of companies. (Cap1, Ollo, Chase, BOA, Discover, AMEX, BB-Citi)

In review of CreditKarma, Experian, and Credit Sesame it looks like my options are:

CreditOne (PreApproved, Experian; CK Guarantee)

Ally (PreApproved, Experian; Outstanding odds, CS)

Upgrade (Outstanding odds, CK)

Indigo (CK Guarantee)

Revvi (PreApproved, Experian)

Thoughts?

I concur on skipping CreditOne; pretty much anywhere you look on this site you'll find less than glowing reviews.  Then there is CapitalOne; yes, I understand you burned them, but they have proven to be very forgiving when burned; many folks here have been approved for a no-AF Quicksilver card with a $3,000 limit right out of the discharge gate.

Chapter 13:

  • Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank (now Bank of Southern California)
  • Filed: 26-Feb-2015
  • MoC: 01-Mar-2015
  • 1st Payment (posted): 23-Mar-2015
  • Last Payment (posted): 07-Feb-2020
  • Discharged: 04-Mar-2020
  • Closed: 23-Jun-2020

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

Re: Post Discharge Credit Apps

I did attempt to pre qualify with Cap1 but was told no. I will try them again in 6 months or so.

My wife was able to get the QS for 3k limit though...

Agree that Cap1 is very likely to let you back in, many others have reported getting back in and approved within months of burning them in BK7.
