I am sure that it is on here somewhere but I can't seem to find it I need to send letters to all three of the CB's because I have a collection account showing up that was discharged in BK7 by another company. So this new company purchased my collection account after it was discharged and have it reporting incorrectly. Needless to say I want it GONE because it is incorrect I have already send a letter to the company about two weeks ago still haven't seen anything so I want to send letters to the CB's and dispute it with them but don't know where to send it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

What a terrific opportunity for you! This is a clear violation of the discharge injunction. Call a consumer attorney and sue the CA. You have notified them. How much time did you give them in the letter to delete? This will get you some $$$ in your pocket.
I said in the letter that they needed to delete it immediately. So I really could sue these people for this? I mean all the information that is on this collection is incorrect the amount that I did owe before discharge is only thing that is correct.
Yes. I really mean it. Call a consumer attorney. Provide the info. You gave notice and they didn't comply. Make sure the consumer attorney handles things like this regularly for debtors.
Does it cost for a consumer attorney? I may have to go this route also. I'm going to try again, but I'm not sure. Have some stubborn collection agencies.
There is a cost, yes.
However, the FCRA states that when these happen and the debtor takes action, the creditor usually foots the bill for the fine and the debtor's attorney fees - so, this is simple and easy for you!
As mentioned - just find an attorney that handles this regularly - they will jump on it and usually offer a free consult.
