Questions about credit checks.and working in finance with a BK

I'm currently looking for a part- time job while I'm in school. I'm majoring in accounting and finance, so I'm looking for entry level and internships. Will employment credit checks affect my credit in anyway? My case is not discharged yet. I applied at a bank and I got a letter from TU saying they did a credit check. I think my lawyer pulled my free credit check from experian will I have to pay if I pull another one from them? His secretary pulled it and she was asking me the personal verification questions they ask when I pull my credit reports. I wasn't thinking about it at the time when she pulled the credit report. How much will another one cost? Does anyone have experience filing for bankruptcy in the finance field? Should I change my major to something else before I start taking major classes? I still have three years before I graduate hopefully my credit will have improved by then but it will still show on my credit report.

For what it's worth I've read many threads on many different forums on how people with credit issues have had difficulty getting hired for jobs that deal with handling money... and rightfully so.  

So hopefully your goal isn't working in a bank...

Not handling money, the job I applied for was for loan processing. I want to get a job either trading, Investment banking, or corporate finance after I finish school.
