Well, I'm now six months post d/c.  So far things are continuing to look up.  In the past three months, I've been approved for the following cards: Ollo rewards MC - 2500, Mercury rewards MC - 750 and the biggest prize so far Penfed Visa Gold - 7500.  Also, not major but I received a whopping $100 cli on my Cap1 platinum card which I upgraded to the quicksilver 1.5% cashback.  My current fico 8 scores as of today: EX - 664, EQ - 686, TU - 647.  Will give updated status in November which will be one year post d/c.  Hopefully at that time I'll be able to obtain another Navy card.

Hello all.  My Ch7 was discharged on 11/05/20.  Checked my fico scores today.  Scores after BK are the following: EQ 553  EX 542 TU 482.  I'm currently unemployed so my rebuild is on hold for now.  However I decided to check the Cap One preapproval site.  Stated that I was preapproved for the no AF platinum card.  So I said "What the hell.  I'll apply."  Submitted the application.  Received message that stated Good news, you're almost approved.  I needed to send them a copy of my DL and SS card.  Two hours later, received email that I was approved for $300.  Wasn't much but it's a start to rebuild.  Once I find a job, I'll apply for a SSL from Navy and possibly a secured card.
