Hello! My Chapter 13 was closed July 3; I began my rebuild in earnest with the following:
Cap One Quicksilver: $3k SL
Mission Lane: $2k SL
Ally Unlimited Cash Rewards: $1k SL
Ashley: $5k SL
Ikea: $7,2k SL
I have been a member of USAA off-on since the '90s, but only have insurance and a small bank account account there (l have about $20 in my checking account small-we bank at Chase and a local CU for everything else). Anyhow, I saw that USAA pulls Experian 3 bank card-after checking that score (668) I went ahead and applied and was approved for a $5k SL.
I hope this helps anyone considering them post BK! I am going to hold off on anymore applications but I will say to anyone else rebuilding: check preapprovals when available before applications- it saved me several hard pulls. Oh, lastly, I did not burn them in BK (sorry PenFed....) but I did have an auto repossession about 15 years go thanks to my ex.
