Thank you. That was really my question about this other paperwork. All of the research I’ve done didn’t make it out to be necessary. I trust my lawyer as they’ve been great during this entire process, but he also didn’t come right out and say we need to do x,y,z in order to do that; just like a we can do this if you’d like sort of thing. If I can just arrange for my own pickup after the official discharge and not have to do paperwork (or pay $300 for unnecessary paperwork), I’d rather do that. Thank you!

If you dont reaffirm the debt will be discharged in the BK, you get to keep the item as long as you continue to make the payments even post discharge. Since you are not going to keep it you can arrange a pick up of the item at any time even prior to BK discharge.
