Hi all,
So i just got a FICO alert. Account updated in Equifax today:
DETAILS
What is this all about? Will it affect my FICO scores? Is it normal?
it also shows under "Open" and "Close" accounts on myFICO credit reports as follows:
COMPANY | Usaa Savings Bank | Usaa Savings Bank | Usaa Savings Bank |
LOAN TYPE | Credit Card | Credit Card | Credit Card |
ACCOUNT NUMBER | XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX | XXXXXXXXXXXX | XXXXXXXX |
ACCOUNT HOLDER | Individual | Individual Account | Individual |
DATE OPENED | Dec, 2006 | Dec, 2006 | Dec, 2006 |
Looks normal to me assuming you filed BK7 in 2010. It should be reporting under closed accounts.
What's the issue?
I guess im just freaking out as to why they're updating something that was d/c in Ch7.
That's USAA for ya. They updated my account every month I was in my ch13. i was ecstatic when it finally aged off.
I see, well i have 5 more years to go for it to fall off...unless i get their AMEX card at 7 years but going to try the regular AMEX BCR or Charge card in Jan/2016. Been reading that after 5 years, some have gotten it.

TRC being one of them 5 years post d/c for AMEX to consider
What is TRC? Will wait an extra two months.
