Discharged from BK in May 2014. I got my navy fed credit card for $500. When do you think I should apply for an increase? I also have a Capital One card I received in June for $1000 both are under 10% untilization. I would like to apply for a car loan next year so from navy fed so I'm not sure when I should apply.
6 months of payment history is a good place to start.
There’s a dude that has a comment posted within the Bankruptcy comments called:
“HOW TO: From BK7 discharge to 700 in 24 months or less!”
He has some great suggestions and timeline advice on how to raise a CS ASAP.
For any outdated info or mis-info there are hundreds of comments within his thread either confirming or denying the reliability of his outlined steps.

Agree with this usually! NFCU is pretty awesome though and every 3-4 months is a good time for them. Read through the NFCU thread that is mentioned above, a lot of us did the leg work for you in figuring NFCU CLI's out
Please where is the NFCU thread you are talking about?
