AMEX Amazon Business is METAL - Confirmed
Just got it today.
I mean, cool i guess. It's going to sit in my drawer though. No real use outside of loading it up into AMZ.
Does this card also give the 5% Whole Foods discount like the Chase version? I don't shop there often due to the overpriced goods, but maybe it would get some use for that. Meh, would probably still use the new Gold card for the MR points. Edit: it does, just looked it up. Think I'd still use the new Gold card instead though. The points are more flexible and I can just liquidate into CS @ 5% for all grocery spend.
Ya just like my chase Prime card it never leaves the sock drawer so my amazon one wont either.. Kinda a waste of their money imo as it meant primary to be used on amazon, granted yes whole foods, etc or wherever else, but i speculate 80% of people will only be using it on amazon especially "businesses" for either amazon purchases or AWS discount, etc.
At least you'll get the Amazon gc

You have to have Prime membership to get 5 percent off at Whole Foods. So with the $119 fee for Amazon Prime you would have to spend $5950 at Whole Foods over a no-fee card like Amex BCE to make it worth the Prime fee. But if anyone shops at Whole Foods that much I doubt they are really that concerned about saving money.

Well prime is a high value for me without considering credit card returns, so I wouldn't compare it like that. The original video content alone is worth ~ $100/year to me.

agree bad comparison.. 2 day shipping alone easily pays for af if you order alot from amazon. I do 5 plus order a month
