The new year keeps rolling! Added a new business card. Got my 3rd AMEX card, the Blue Bsuiness Plus card. Applied online and instant approval witha. $10k SL. I have a Blue Cash Preferred personal and a Blue Business Cash card as well..just realized all my AMEX cards are blue...maybe add that peronal Gold to break that up a bit lol...
Do you have a personal card with American Express? With American Express it's all about the relationship you build with American Express. I started with a personal card and kept that in good standings for about nine months and then once you are in the American Express system, additional cards can be opened without a credit pull. When I applied for my first business card, it was only stated income. Again, I had already had an American Express personal account. My credit score is about 805. It fluctuates up or down a few points monthly. Income is 90k. If you dont already have an AMEX personal card. Start there. Apply for a standard charge card. (Classic green?). That's probably the easiest to get approved for. If you cant get one then one of the secured ones for 6 months to eatablish a relationship with AMEX. AMEX is all about the relationship you build with them. Use the card you get. Pay it off. After 6 months. Apply for a business card. You should be good.
