Hello,
i have some questions on this card and business cards in general. I have a long standing eBay business, (this is a side business, that I do on my own part time) but the income varies from year to year. Last year I was too busy and did not sell anything at all. In years before I've made anywhere from 5k to 10k per year. I've read that an eBay or Amazon seller can apply for a business card and then just put your own name and SP. Is this correct?
How does this work with a reseller? Someone who buys items and resales them? Wouldn't that be coded as personal expensive since they may not be viewed as business items?
How would that work for the income question, since income can greatly vary and last year I didn't make much via eBay only?
Anyone with a resale business with varied income apply for a card like this? How would I answer the income and expense question considering last year it was pretty stagnant? Has anyone applied for the Amazon Ax business card yet?

Is this correct? - Yes, that’s correct. You would use your SSN and apply as a Sole Proprietor

How would that work for the income question, since income can greatly vary and last year I didn't make much via eBay only? - I would just use an average of what you have made over the past 5 years. Even people that entered $0 for income have been approved for Amex business cards

Read a couple of the other threads in here regarding the card
Thinking about getting this card. Comparing it to other 5% amz options, this seems to be a better option for a couple reasons:
1) $125 amz gift card
2) better purchase protection (Amex has superb purchase protection). I generally prefer using Amex over other cards for this reason.
Seems like a no-brainer, but is this how everyone else sees it?
Approved for $2500 .
Already had a simply cash plus with them with $15k CL but Amazon card got approved by a soft pull and $2500
low for CL but would primarily just be using it for Amazon purchases.
The $2500 probably isn't your actual limit, they give you a starter limit till you get your card. To check your actual limit, go to the CLI page and it will say how much it is there.
yes you are right it is $15K
My husband got the 2.5k last night and thought it was odd, but after reading other stories almost everyone had a much higher limit. His was around the same as yours.
Anyone know how to set up the rewards with prime and Amazon. When he went to check rewards it says this card is not enrolled in Amazon rewards. And there is an error at Amazon when trying to set it up. Do you have to wait for the physical card and card number? It was automatically linked to our account with the gift card. Just says it's not enrolled in the rewards program.
Anyone?
I just ran across this card on accident the other day, glad you all started a thread.
If I am logged into my Amex account and click to apply for it then it gives me a prompt saying I have to do it through Amazon and clicking 'OK' takes me to Amazon page for application.
So I have a personal Amazon account, and I have an Amazon Business account, two separate things with two separate email accounts, and I'm pretty sure an Amazon Business account is required to apply for this card. My personal account has Prime, my Business account does not and it is $179 a year instead of $119.
My question then is, can you only use this new Amex Amazon Business card on your Amazon Business account? If not, does your Amazon Business account need Prime or can your personal Prime membership count?
This card in particular is a little strange to try and de-couple from an Amazon Business account. Not sure it can be done. I guess that is what I'm driving at...can you use this card with my personal Amazon account outside of an Amazon Business account and still get 5% or 90 days?
Yes you can use it with your personal account. If your logged into to it when you apply, the card and your gift card will show up in your account. A lot of people I've seen get this card use it with their personal account.

You can also share your personal prime with your business account (or you could). When I created my business account, it gave me that option.
