Amex BBC CLI Request...Advice?

Having my AMEX BBC a few months (past 61 days) and being over 6 months since my last CLI on any AMEX, I attempted to submit a request for CLI and may have been a little too aggressive in my ask.  Like others, the CLI link was not present so I used the backdoor link that @simplynoir shared in another post.  My SL was $10K and the card has gotten some usage...not too much...less than 50% of the CL and usually PIF though the card came with 0% APR for 12 months so I've carried some over....maybe $800

I requested a $20K CLI, thinking 3X wouldn't be an issue as I've never been stopped by AMEX before.  It correctly prepopulated my personal (W2) income and business (side gig) income before hitting submit. However, this time my request was not approved and instead I was taken to another screen asking to use a service to either provide credentials to my business bank account so they could verify/access the account or I could upload 3 months of statement PDF's from my business banking account.  I then remember someone not getting an approval and using the "back" button on the browser to resubmit...No Go....when it went back, it logged me out.  I went in again and thought I'd attempt to submit the request for $10K instead of $20K, however it immediately took me to the page reminding me I had a pending request and needed to upload bank statements.  I chose to just exit out and then I got this email.  It appears I have about 2 weeks to provide this or they claim my request could be deleted.

Challenge is...I don't have a business bank account....I run everything through my personal so I could provide say statements from another account I hold that also isn't specific to a business or provide my personal.

Anyone experience this before?  I am thinking I will just wait for it to expire later this month then resubmit for a lower amount?

Thoughts?  Thanks everyone...

I'm awaiting the opportunity to try the 3X CLI on my BBP, but it's not yet time. I think it's interesting that they want access to your banking. I did have to do the same thing when I was originally approved a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the feedback @BizCreditHunter

I was not asked for any documentation at my approval so perhaps this is them catching up... not sure.

They use Plaid... you can log into any account and you attest that business activity is going to that account...

If that account shows the deposits to = the kind of income you are stating, it should go through without a hitch.

I have done the plaid verification on an application and it was then instantly approved after that!

Sorry for not updating....I followed through with the verification....however, it was not approved.  I am not entirely sure about a DP since I don't have a business checking account and that was the verification it was asking...I instead used my personal account which had sufficient funds and activity though it wasn't approved.  I decided to just let it go for now. I think the fact that it wasn't a business account and that was their specific request led to the decline.
