Just applied for the Amex Business blue card. Received message saying Pending Review and to call. I didn't know what to expect but, since I'm already with Amex personally, I hoped to get approved with at least a courtesy $1000. But what the heck else did they need from me? Gotta admit I was a little nervous because a denial online is one thing but, having a person say so is a horse of another color. Anyhoo...
They wanted to verify my business address because they were showing a different suite number listed. I'd been using a PO Box but am now paying for a corporate identity address because of what I read on this board. They corrected the info and verified my personal address and said if the card was approved, it would be sent to my personal address within 7-10 days. Dude came back with a Congratulations and said my card was approved for $22,500 and will be sent in 3-5 days, no additional cost! You could've knocked me over with a feather.
This is HUGE for me since I've been making business purchases with my personal cards and expensing it back to the company. Shoot, I don't even have this much personally with AMEX. But I'll take it!
Thanks for letting me share my excitement.
Congrats. 🍾🎊🎉🎈. That’s a sweet SL.
Congratulations! That's a heck of an approval there.

Congrats! Gotta love amex. I was in the exact same situation back in May. Same card, limit, review/call, etc. It seems that putting alot of business spend on personal cards definitely helps.
What did you read here about po boxes?
I read here in how to build credit for your business, that you should have a street address and not a post office box. I've been using a po box and decided to use one of those corporate id places for an address.
Congratulations!
Congratulation on your approval.
