Approved - Amex Delta Platinum Business

$5K starting limit, 70K SUB and $195 AF plus other perks.

Question is besides waiting 61 days for the 3X CLI is there a way of calling without another HP for a CLI?

Not a huge deal but was hoping for $10K plus so that I could get $30K sooner than later.

Data points are 736 Experian - 1% utlization - $140K income

Thanks for all of your help. Looking forward to being part of the Amex family (first Amex card)

Howdy!! From my understanding AMEX does not do HP’s for CLI’s on their customers. I have Gold Delta AMEX and requested a CLI with no HP. Come to think of it, I didn’t get a HP for the Delta care at all.

Congrats on the new card. AMEX will work with you. They are great (in my opinion).

Unfortunately there isn't a way other than 3x CLI to get it. What you could do is if you have any personal accounts with AMEX is transfer $5k over to from a personal account to the business; AMEX allows CL transfers that way. That way when your next CLI comes up you'll be ready to ask for the max to get the card to $30k that way.

No, not really. You'll need to wait the 61 days and then do your request.
The good thing is depending on how Amex grades your profile. The spending limit normally goes well above the stated limit you see. Plus this line is hidden. The SLs don't mean much. Especially if they allow you to spend well above the stated limit anyway.

Re: Approved - Amex Delta Platinum Business

Ok fair enough. Thanks for the replies. I did see the spending button on my account but haven't tried it yet.

I need to read more into business credit and Amex. I was back and forth about what business card to get and if the SPG card had the 35K bonus I think I would have got that instead (Missed it by a week). I fly a good amount so I figured some "free" flights wouldn't hurt.

I don't have any personal Amex cards and I think I'll be staying away from anything that reports until after the 1st of the year. Would love to get the Chase Ink Business preferred card when I'm under 5/24.

+1. I'm eyeballing Chase Ink myself for when I'm under 5/24 in the first week of August. Trying not to get anything that reports either until then.
