How did you receive this offer? I can't find it anywhere. There is no printed offer anywhere on their site. Just trying to see if I can get the same as you.

It came via mail...  it is not on their site.

I've been solicited before, but ignored their offers. Well, they finally found a number worth taking a chance on them, and was instantly approved for $20K. $500 after $5k spend.

Spark $500 Offer.jpg

I'm not thrilled that it will appear on my personal credit report, doesn't quite match PNC's 1.75% or Citizens 1.85% for non-AF cards, but it'll do nicely for business purchases.

That is also the main reason why I didn't take advantage of it..

Interesting. You must have Spark Cash - 2% on purchases, no annual fee for the first year, then $59 second year onwards, with the $300 sign-up bonus right now.

I am receiving the Spark Cash Select - 1.5% on purchases, never an annual fee, with a $500 sign-up bonus right now.

After the first year, $11.8k is the annual spend necessary to offset the annual fee on the 2% Spark Cash versus the 1.5% Spark Cash Select.

The normal sign-up bonus for the Spark Cash Select is far less, only $100. Getting the $500 sign-up bonus skews the rewards such that you'd have to spend a lot on the Spark Cash to earn the same in the first year - 40k.

Nope CA has same card I do "spark classic" IIRC

I was the first to try this and it worked so for 2/12 years now I've been getting 2% CB and spreading the word for others

App Classic wait 6 months email EO and ask for 2% rewards ....Easy pezzy and no AF

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

true, mine was classic and EO just added the 2% cash on to the account and fast forward over a year and this year it actually switched to the Cash card online and I ordered new card and was sent a Cash Card (GREEN!)

Darn. Anyway you still have the letter and could email or post a screen shot? Maybe there is a offer # or someway I can take advantage of it. When I call, they don't know what I'm talking about.
