Chase InK application 30day message UPDATE!

I knew I shouldnt have done this, but Ive really wanted an INK card for a while so I applied for the Ink plus, on saturday. It went to pending, and wehn you call the 3117 number it gives me the "we will notify you in 30 days message"

I already called verification and they said its with lending, so I hung up Lol.

From my knowlege the Ink cards are not apart of the 5 in 24, and so far its true, as when i appd for the CSP last, it was auto denied with the 7-10 message.

I do have way more than 5 new accounts in the past 12 months let alone year. and this is the first time the Ink app has gone pending, so Im just calling the automated line and waiting hoping to wait it out.

otherwise probably done for now, Not sure if my New leased Benz hit my report yet, ive done a bit to much apping the past 2 years.

All you can do is wait it out and then call if needed.  number of accounts generally don't apply but of course as with any cc aplication they are going to look over all of your credit to make a determination.  Good luck.  It is a great card.

This is what I experienced when I applied for the United Explorer card. Called verification and the rep said it was being handled by the Lending Department. With that 30 day message I think you have a good chance of approval.

So update as of Friday 1/22 Called in the 3117 number and the machine now says notify in approx 2 weeks (this is usually an even better sign!) so im super stoaked and hopefully works out. Called Verificition and they said lending is handling it still.
