Chase won’t move credit line between cards

I called Chase today to get some credit line transferred from business card to business card. They said they couldn't do it because they were "set up" differently. It's the same EIN and I can't figure out what would be different. I did have to recon one of them. The only difference I can think of is one of my cards has LLC on it and the other doesn't.

Anyone have any ideas why this would happen?

Re: Chase won’t move credit line between cards

Just spit balling here, but one possible explanation is that they likely have them set up in their system as two different businesses, one under your SSN (regardless of the EIN being present, they don't have it in their system that way), and then the other (LLC) listed under your EIN. It would be the same as if for example you wanted to add an additional, or 2nd Ink Unlimited, or Cash etc... With Chase, you can have a second of the same business card, but not under the same EIN, and if that were the case, they wouldn't allow you to transfer CLs between any other card not listed under the same EIN.
