I was looking to consolidate some AMEX business card,
so I got to the FNBO Prequalify website, was Prequalify for $15K FNBO EVERGREEN BUSINESS.
I decide to apply for that card, came back one week later has declined, Maybe time to garden.

Sorry. I hate when they do that.

I'll be curious to know the reason for the decline. May be they are looking for additional information? Did you try to call them and ask for reconsideration. I am planning on applying for it later this year. Would be good to know all things they are looking for. Please share if you receive additional information.

I applied back in June, got approved in July. Here are my data points:
Approved for 15k starting limit, which is the limit that was in the preapproval.
It took 24 days from application (within the 2-4 weeks they had projected).
They pulled EX. My EX FICO 8 at the time was 713. I don't know which scoring model they look at.
I had substantial recent inquiries in EX. No new accounts though.
Had substantial aggregate utilization at the time, in the neighborhood of 34-35%.
The only documents they asked for were the company's organization documents and proof of address, which happened to be the same document.

Hi @SouthJamaica, Thank you very much for the information. I am going to wait till later part of this year to apply for it. I am assuming it does not reporting your personal reports.

No it does not report to personal. I have never heard of a business card reporting to personal other than TD, Discover, and Capital One.

I, too, have pulled the trigger today. Will call tomorrow to speed up the bottleneck. ![]()

Sorry you were denied. When you get your denial reasons, I would post them here along with any data points that you have as some of the members here might be able to give you some good ideas on how to call and ask for reconsideration.
I also applied received the Preapproval then was told I wasn't approved. But just checked the mail and My card and employee cards were in the mail.
Approved for 15k starting limit, which is the limit that was in the preapproval.
It took 8 days from application (upto 4 weeks estimated).
Not sure which bureau was pulled 690/731/744 . .
I had a ton of inquiries and a few new accounts.
Personal utilization is at about 11%.
I plan to use the zero percent interest to pay off a couple other cards which should bring the utilization down quite a bit.
I need to update my signature but I have a ton of cards lol. Moving more to business credit. Goal is to hit 500k by the end of the year.
