FedEx / UPS Net 30

Does FedEx still do Net 30's? Conflicting information on the web. I'm set up with UPS but they do not report as stated by my account rep. They do offer instant Net 15's and Net 30's via application and an ACH payment link if anyone's interested. Have read online that UPS will report sporadically but I'm sure that's probably only if you default. I know these things change like the wind so if anyone can confirm on UPS and/or FedEx that would be helpful.

Re: FedEx / UPS Net 30

SilverSmith I wanted to bump this topic as I am also trying to research this.  I need to ship a package or two, and I'd love to get an account set up to add an additional positive TL.  Obviously if one reports and the other doesn't, that is super valuable intel.

To the best of my knowledge, FedEx invoicing usually been shifted towards commericial accounts or accounts with large volume of shipping. They used to have it available but that was about 4ish years ago since ive seen that on their website. You might want to call in and see.

In regards to UPS, you could still use UPS as a reference if you paid the invoices on time.

Re: FedEx / UPS Net 30

Fedex still has a Net 15/30 going on, but it won't report smaller payments. The account is in-house referred to as "non-credit card billing account". You will get 15 days, or 30, based on your creditworthiness. You'll have to make a phone call to apply.

OK then maybe UPS/FEDEX are not really useful, or not worth the effort/expense, knowing that they are probably not going to report anything positive anyway.  Better off skipping these guys and doing other trades that DO report.

I've had net 30 accounts with them for ages, and I don't think they've ever reported anything to anybody.

Re: FedEx / UPS Net 30

Good to know. So many suggest apping from vaious sources. I legit use UPS everyday for shipping businesswise but that's me. Many others may not have a use. FedEx I know has an "internal" credit check. Mainly its an account history check with a sprinkle of DnB INQ thrown in. I use them less often so no Net30 there for me.
