Got approved for my first business card, the Ink Plus!

I have been eyeing this card for a while because of the UR points and great 5x bonus on office supplies and utilities and with the new restrictions looming I figured what better time than now.  This is my first business card so I wasn't quite sure how it would go over (my "business" is ebay/amazon reselling).  After a quick call to chase for verification of some kind (I applied while overseas for work using a VPN) the plesant CSR informed me that I was approved with a $21.5K limit, my highest yet!  Now to start working on that $5k spend for the bonus...

I am interested in that card as well. What was your credit report like? Any bads, in the 700s, UT? Do you have any cards with them already?

My report is pretty clean honestly, no baddies 750+ across the board and I had 4 personal cards with chase already.

Do you think it's easier when you have a card with chase already. I am pretty much in the same boat as you 750+, one 30 day late but that was 22 months ago. I don't have any cards with chase.

It may have helped slightly but I don't think you will have a problem.

Big, big congratulations, jwolfer.  I am a small time ebay seller, so this is fantastic news for me and gives me hope that I might be approve.

Thanks! I say go for it.  Especially if you won't be good for the 5/24 rule in March.

You should be good, since you have one business card.
