Re: I just got $66K loc on a softpull w no docs. really

hey, funny the loan rep, Danny - super nice guy - that I just spoke with said the same thing,  never heard of a 4.99 rate.  who knows, I am pretty sure its not going back down.  a drag but not the worst thing that has happened this year by a long shot.  I have been with chase for 4+ decades, so much for being a jmp client, etc. - I got the sense that they wanted me to jump through too many hoops for this so I did not even get to the % part.  honestly pnc is so together, as you know, that the idea of doing wf or boa just did not get me that excited.  if pnc was not an option I am not sure what I would have done.  if the % goes up I just pay faster is all.  did you end up getting a digital wallet?  I suppose you know about them picking up bbva usa, they are going to be everywhere now which is great but it does not change much for me, i deposit into chase or dcu and move $ overnight to pnc to cover my monthly bill pay.

I didn't get the virtual wallet, because despite some contradicting wording at times, the PNC website allowed me to transfer in and out of my external checking account at Chase. Transfer out/drawing funds is pretty fast too (1 business day to Chase).

Yes they're expanding, actually they just opened some local branches here in Texas. I called one and was told that eventually, all of their banking products would be available here (for now it's personal only, but they're already doing business training), which should also be reflected on their website.

There are definitely some good things about this bank, such as easy access to a human being over the phone. But at the same time some of their stuff seems outdated, for example the website, and the bizzare fact that I cannot stop the paper bills and convert to online statement for this LoC account. Actually I couldn't even find any monthly/PDF statement online at all other than the transaction list.

lol yeah they are outdated, the biz side is pretty much batch, no real time anywhere, which is why I asked about the wallet, its a bit more modern and in real time.  so who does your bill pay go through?

I use Chase for biz bill pay (not the best interface, but I only bank at Chase for the biz side) and DCU for personal (pretty good interface).

If you meant making payment for the PNC LoC account, I do it directly from PNC website using the make payment link (from my linked Chase biz checking account at the time of application).

got it.  yeah i have chase biz and dcu for personal as well but I switched it all over to pnc wallet.  never used the transfer feature, I just push $ to the loc from the chase account and it gets there overnight.  not trying to shill for the product or anything but I am hard to please and I really like it and I have accounts with them all lol.  I cannot believe there is no example on the net but you get the idea, you can have your loc set to overdraft.  on the base wallet its n/c if you are over 62 or keep $500 in it.  there customer service is teriffic imo, calling about the % is the last convo I have had since 8/19 but they were amazing setting up the overdraft, it took some doing as nobody knew what the out of footprint loc was.  are you open to sending me some bbq, there is nothing to eat in los angeles.  you can stick it in dry ice with my vaccine lol
