Partner applied last night and got reference... called this AM and it was denied but commercial accounts they can actually review and overturn unlike personal... not sure what the computer didn't like about him but after a few minute hold the guy came back and asked what kind of credit line he was expecting.  He said my personal HD is $25k, know business is a little different but something around $20k.

Guy asked if $20k would make him happy.

Yes.

Okay, I can take care of that for you... hold while I complete the application.

Then comes back and the app went to verification so he had to get transferred again.

Verification lady asked to send a text to 1 of the numbers from the application (or call) with code... after code verified a quick hold and then:

Back to underwriting!

He reviewed, came back and asked the amount again... reviewed again... 2 extended holds...

APPROVED $20k!

I have a NO-PG with a 10k limit with lowes. I have found that credit limit increases on this card are easier to push through when standing in the store and having them call underwritting for you.

Congrats to CA's DP on the Lowe's Commercial approval!

On the 19th and 20th there was a promotion for 10% off purchases on the Lowe's family of cards, and the commercial accounts were included too!

Thanks Creditaddict! On the online app it's asking for my home address and home phone number.... which has the red star next to it so I can't skip that..... Also the application says Lowes Business Account Application. Am I on the right app?...................

You should still be ok; they want a home address and phone, but as long as you don't volunteer your SSN, you haven't PG'd it.
