Hi has anyone ever applied for the TD bank business card? If so what was the approval process? Also what were some of the Starting limits?
I did it recently.
It was very quick and easy.
They pulled EX.
SL was 25k.
Warning: it reports to your personal credit.

That's great did you apply online? Also did you have a relationship with TD bank prior to application?
Yes and yes, but I'm doubtful that that had anything to do with it.
The credit card department and the branch banking seem to be totally disconnected.

A few years ago it was rumored that TD credit cards were approved for those who had checking accounts. I deposited $100 into a checking account before I replied to one of their preapproved mailings. I've kept that Convenience Checking with $100 in it.
My spouse was pre-selected and was approved for a personal credit card without having their own checking account.
I'm thinking about applying for the business card myself. I expect to be solicited to open checking accounts while I'm in the branch. Their card division is "walled off" from their banking division, with only some information visible, as others have posted.
For people who have a TD biz card, how did the starting limit you received on it compare with starting limits for any other cards you may have applied for at around the same time (or when you had roughly the same scores / income)?

Starting limit was higher.
But what's the good of a high credit limit if I can't use the card much, due to its reporting to personal credit?

That has been my philosphy as well... until recently, when it occurred to me that having another high-limit card on my personal report could be useful for the combined utilization on my personal report.
