Last week I applied for the US Bank Business Leverage card, and received the 7-10 message. I called them after one day to check on the status, and I was told they were still reviewing the application. I decided to open a business bank account with them in hopes that it would show I wanted to build a relationship with them. I opened it under my L3C's EIN, and submitted all my organizational documents. This afternoon, I received notification that I was approved for a $3,000 limit. It isn't much, but my Experian FICO 8 is only a 645 and my Transunion Fico 8 is only 661, so once my credit improves, I hope to get a higher limit. After today, I am in the garden for the next 18 months.
side note: I settled one of my medical collections today, so I only have one more medical collection, and once I settle that, I will have a decent credit profile. I do have two settled Cap1 charges-offs from 2017 that will fall off next year, so once those fall off, I should have a score in the low to mid 700's, at that time I will apply for one of the Chase Ink cards.
Nice SL, congratulations on your new approval!
