Wells Fargo Signify Business Card - $36K SL

@Mojoro24 a business relationship is not mandatory because I did not and still don't have one but was approved for the Signify cash for $5k. However, a personal relationship is required. I've been a checking customer since 2019 with consistent direct deposit. I also believe the online application for this card begins with this questionnaire, "Are you a Wells Fargo customer with a checking or savings account that has been open for at least two months?" So there's that.

I remember opening a business checking account with them 2 years ago and it felt worse than going to the dentist. I can only imagine business credit.

@REDBOYYY56 is totally correct....trying to open a business checking account was a nightmare.  I paused the app from online and said I would go into the branch.  The CC app was completely the opposite...a piece of cake.  I had a personal CC from a few years, opened a personal checking and savings account few weeks ago...then applied for a business CC.

when I used a link to apply for the business CC, the question it asked was if I had an online login account for Wells Fargo...nothing about a checking/savings for 2 months.  I have seen that 2 month message on -previous attempts to apply and usually stopped there.

Do they check if you have a federal EIN  ?
