I will also note that it is a Net 27 or something like that and the statement period in monthly unlike twice a month Fuelman billing and NET12. There is also no trickery regarding when payments post from what I can tell. Fuelman and ComData will NAIL YOU if you schedule a payment on a weekend or holiday when their due date falls on a non business day.
Not sure if we can eliminate Fuelman Fees in order to sock-drawer it. Otherwise, we will kick then to the curb.

Are you running the Shell Fleet Plus or the Shell Small Business?
Edit: Just reread your post. Only the Shell Small Business allows you to carry a balance.

That leads me to another question then... Did you opt for the Net terms account instead of the revolver for the Fleet Account Program options or the added discounts? The No PG for either is based off of $1M+ in revs and 3+ years in business.

Just to be clear, this Shell Fleet is a WEX card. When I apped, I hat thought it was a Citi card being that I already had Tractor Supply with them. If you are talking about WEX, I did not know there was an option to revolve.
After the WEX approval, we did app for the Citi Exxon / Mobil and that was the 1m revs + 3 years in business required card. That one is a revolver. We have not had a statement cut yet for that one though. I hope this answers your questions.

You are correct , the Citi Exxon has the $1M+/ 3+ year in business requirement. The Wex/Shell does have a "Small Business" Card that allows you to carry a balance. Whether its a true revolver I can't say for sure. Sounds like it would be. On the main Shell Fleet site under Business accounts it'll show the 3 options. Click on "Compare Commercial cards" and it outlines the differences in chart format.

How did you get approved for the Sams Club no PG?

Yes, I know. I do have a CITI Tractor Supply and would like an Exxon/Mobil card from them but am holding off until I have some clarity on them doing a hard pull on personal credit even without checking the "Personal Guarantee" box. We just do make the requirements and figure they would be more straight-forward. If I could get a Sam's MC, that would take care of the Fleet Card issue in terms of less headache. We pay in full but a set due date would make things easier accounting wise.
I have to say that Fleetcor is pretty bad with fees and they seem to intentionally make it hard to pay. Our Comdata "Builder Pro" is worse and their fees are insane and both are very tricky when it comes to due dates on holidays and weekends. If not paying attention to that, they will nail you.
Don't get me started!
I cancelled mine. They suck suck suck!

You fill out the app online, print it and bring it to the store. Ask for someone that knows about the business app process. Just make sure they know, No PG

Congratulations on your Approval..
