What missing protections?

I've heard others say that business credit cards lack the same protections as consumer credit cards.

Can anyone fill me in on the details? Is it just about time to file fraud disputes?

Re: What missing protections?

I believe it's about things like buyer protection, for instanec when you buy a toaster and it stops working within 90 days of purchase. But cannot get it resolved with said retailer etc.

Nothing to do with fraud though.

(For US-American Credit) Business Credit Cards have different rules since they're not governed under the Credit Card Act of 2009 which include the following protections:

1. Credit Card Issuers Must Alert You to Rate Increases
2. Interest Rate Reductions (credit issuers are required by law to account review accounts every 6 months (minimal) to determine if consumer acct is eligible for an APR reduction.
3. Double Cycle Billing and Other Fees Are Prohibited
4. "Reasonable Fees"
5. Statement Delivery and Due Dates are required with a minimal of 21 days before due date.
6. Readability of terms and conditions.

This list isn't exhaustive.

You can read about the act, just google "CREDIT CARD ACCOUNTABILITY
RESPONSIBILITY AND DISCLOSURE ACT OF
2009 "

This is why and how Gas Cards like Fleetcor and Wex can get away with charging what I call "dumb fees"

Edit: This is not legal advise I just enjoy reading fine print
