reporting question

i recently got approved for my first business card. i was wondering on how it reports since i know business cards reports to (biz) ex, eq, and duns. i was wondering how would this would report if i applied as a sole proprietor? this is my first year of doing this whole deal so its new to me. i have two rental properties that i rent out, and was gonna use the business cards for those. when i applied for the card i only put my name on the business name and dba. i also just used my ss number. i do intend to setup as an llc, but for right now its just me. will the card just report to my personal credit report since there is no business credit report to report to? when i apply for other business cards will other companies be able to see my chase ink? thanks in advance.

Re: reporting question

thanks for your reply. the business card i ended up getting was the chase ink. i was wondering how it would report since i basically just used my ssn and entered my name in the business name and dba. i do intend to go llc, but for right now i entered everything as sole proprietor. thanks in advance.

Re: reporting question

Inks do not report to personal unless you severely default. They do report to the business reports, not sure about D&B.

Re: reporting question

ok gotcha. what im trying to get at is, when i finally start having a business fico, will the card be back tracked all the way to last month, or will the chase ink tradeline only be reportable from when the business can generate a business fico. sorry, this sounds way more confusing that it ought to lol.

Re: reporting question

It is more confusing. It starts reporting from when you get it for the most part. It's going to report from opening and use so as you add more tradelines it will in essence become your oldest line.

Not really much to see as far as business lines go. Just make all the payments and it's good.
