This is from Experian, at what date do I apply again after gardening for 12 months from the Inquiry date   Oct 10, 2023. Your advice is appreciated.

To be safe on the inquiries, 11/1/24... depending on the lender's sensitivity to new accounts, you might want to give consideration to when your last new account first reported as well.

Re: 0/12

If you want to be sure that the inquiry has been removed, in this particular case it happens ito be November 10th.

The reason why you have a removal date in November is that Experian deletes inquiries that aged out the previous calendar month in a single bulk purge on a Saturday once per month.    Their normal schedule is to perform that bulk purge on the 1st Saturday of the month but emperically if the 1st Saturday is the 1st or 2nd day of the month the purge is instead performed on the 2nd Saturday of that particular month.

The 1st Saturday in November 2024 is November 2nd so if they fallow their typical pattern plan on the inquiry being purged at some point on November 9th.  You should be able to go to annualcreditreport.com sometime after 7AM EDT on November 10th to get a free copy of your Experian credit report to confirm the inquiry has in fact been removed.

Re: 0/12

I'd say October 11th 2024. This inquiry won't be removed for two years but it only counts against your score for 12 months. You should be 0/12 on that date.
