1 week till first discover cli !!

They asked for HP after i clicked the luv button, and then gave me 500.So i called and told them the short version is "increase my cli or loose me", and they gave me another 1.5,so 2x CLI. Its ok but im not fully satisfied

No I'm not a student. I have the It card. My 2nd statement will close on March 18th. Just want to know when to push the cli button. I'll try at 3 months. With a $500 limit I need more. It was my first preapproved card on a file with 5 au cards. I have $16,000 in lines of credit, $7500 in my own name over the last 2.5 months. I charged about $375 on the card in Dec and have paid it down to $200. Will be paid off in early April.

I won't be greedy maybe try for $1000.

Good to know, yes i am a student. This is my first credit card on my own, i am au on a crappy little bank card. Which will change soon i am having my father put  me as a au on a prime card since that is actually helpful. 

so seems to me its just pure luck, they may hard pull and if you don't get a amount your happy with tell them your going to close the card. fun stuff.... maybe i should just app for amex gold for the hell of it, and use the same hard pull for amex every day, so i can actually build my credit limit.

Discover likes usage and nice payments, try upping your payment more every month.

I can't up my usage, its at the maximum of being scarirly close to your limit 40 or 50 $ away twice in the first two months.

Use it close to the limit, once it post pay it and repeat.

I am going to try this. I haven't been able to get a CLI yet. I have tried though, without a hard pull.
