Hum,
Congrats on your progress and hope that you find your credit "happy spot".
For me, I'm over $300K in CC and lines of credit. It all snuck up on me in less than 2 years! I'm now at my happy spot and find myself at peace with having more credit than I will ever need. Coming from where I was 2 years ago it's quite freeing to not be obsessing about lack of prime credit. That freedom has now allowed me to now focus on other parts of my financial life such as increasing my income and retirement savings. I have a lot of catching up to do in a short period of time and starting to make progress there as well!
Good luck to you!

How much is your income, if I may ask? A ballpark figure would be appreciated, I don't need your exact income amount (I'm not the IRS lol). I'm wondering how far I should stretch myself as far as total CL goes. I already have more in 5 lines of credit than my income by about 40% but am no where near even 100K lol.

No problem... $135K and am accepting a new job that is $230K. I have been woefully underemployed at a Fortune 25 company and ventured into the free market. What a big difference being a bigger fish in a smaller pond. I tend to agree with CA about total available credit not being a hard deal breaker with credit card companies. The only comments about amount of credit came from RBFCU when I went thru HELOC app and in the end they approved. It sounds like you are on the right track and if you are patient and phase in new lines over time, you will get there. Then move on to bigger better things to improve in your financial life! Good luck!

Thank you for your kind response. I'm sure having a bigger income will help me get those bigger tradelines quicker but I'm not really on a path to a higher income lol.
I am sitting at about $150K currently, exactly 4 years post BK7. At the begining of this year, I had NFCU @ $25K (thanks to Credit Addict), Barclays @$3K and x2 Cap 1 @ $3K.
In April, I applied and was awarded a mortgage; then went on the Mother of all App Sprees and gained $100K in credit over a 2 week period. I closed my Cap 1 cards and forced Barclay into a CLI. I keep my UTIL below 10% and rotate my cards.
I recently applied and was approved for a construction loan to build a log cabin deep in the woods. Life is grand and very rewarding coming off my 4 year BK7. As previously mentioned, I am now focusing on my investments (GILD and APPL); which have been performing great. I will be able to retire at 55. Many thanks to everyone on this board.
You did well and you know what you're doing. I do agree with you on the 2 yrs. I'm at 17 months right now. But do intend on waiting until all inq's fall off before app'ing for the CSP or even tninking of asking for a cli on the cc's I have. I'll see you in the garden.
Thanks Sandi for the encouragement and support! You are doing a great job also and I'm glad you agree on the 2 years. I want zero inquiries showing up when I go Hawai'ian!
I was able to get 4 Visa Signatures out of my 9 new cards so am pretty pleased.
I'm at 465k. I seem to have reached my max but I'm okay with it. My goal was to get to 500k. I haven't been worried about cards being shut down because I have a ton of credit. Congrats on reaching/exceeding 100k.
