2 AMEX, same Hp?

Just applied Monday for BCE. Approved. Is it too late to apply for a charge card and have it be the same hp? Or is it a ymmv situation?

At this point it will be YMMV, but i hardly believe that you will end up with 2 hard pulls. I would go ahead and try it if you want to, before any longer. Gien the fact that it is only a few days, even the cra's may end up combining the 2 inq's.

There's always a chance the HPs could be still be merged, but I would expect a second HP and just be 'pleasantly surprised' if it turns out to only be one.

The good news is that since you now have a card with Amex, in the event it's a denial it should only be a SP.

Yes! It's only been since Wednesday I was approved for the BCE. I'd love to kill two stones with one bird if I can get two Amex products on the same HP.

Am I limited to charge cards for the 2nd stone? How about a travel rewards or even the BCP?

Usually the 2 for 1 deal is with a Revolver and a Charge card, but like UncleB said....Expect another HP (especially if you go for another revolver) and hope for the best.

I was approved for the Amex BCE, PRG and Hilton Surpass all with 1 hard pull. 2 in one week, 3rd the following week. All approved. Be sure to read up on the Amex 61 Day CLI posts for your BCE. Congrats on the approval!

It's possible it'll be 1 HP but it's ALWAYS YMMV, not just because it's been a few days. Also, don't get a charge card unless you see one that's useful. No sense in getting new accounts you don't need just because you may only get one pull. New accounts do more damage than inquiries.

No. I don't even think you CAN get a hp for a CLI with AmEx. Even if you asked lol.
