I apply for the freedom and slate the same day, I got instan approved for the freedom and had to call and recon the slate but I was approved for that one tooo !!!

the underwritter say that the 2nd app was declined at 1st for security rasons but after reviewing my credit, he approved my app for the slate!

btw it was just 1 HP!!!

Well, thanks everyone. I did apply for RC and Sappphire and was approved for both. RC - 7K and Sapphire - 5k. Guess I won that joust!

Incase anyone is reading this, as of today I was denied a second card a few days apart from my first one due to "Too many requests of Credit from Chase", Good thing is they didn't pull a second Hard Inquiry, I did call RECON and they split my CL from one card into two.

I really thought 1 inquiry counts against you even if you applied for two cards as long as it's from the same bank.

This is good to know!!! I was approved for the Ritz Carlton last week, will try for another card as well. Hopefully it will be just one HP
