25 year old Discover Card charge off

I am considering applying for the Discover IT card but I was wondering if the 25 year old charge off that I have with them might affect me now. Any thoughts?

Was it IIB? Was it paid or is there an outstanding balance?

From what I've read, they seem to be forgiving, but not in all situations. Typically, when you apply you'll know.

I've heard of AMEX holding a grudge for 20 years... In my case it was 7 years post charge off I got back in ..... Discover is a more lax lender then AMEX I doubt they have u blacklisted for that long..... Have you tried any prequals?

Definitely was not paid off.

Just kidding, Discover is one of the more forgiving lenders, I doubt it would have any effects now.

I had a charge off from DIscover about 10 years ago and I got back in with them about 2 years ago. You may get a 1099-c as I recieved 1

I burned Discover for 1K in 1999 did not pay it i got back in 2015 check the prequal site for offers.  discovercard.com/application/prequal?ICMPGN=PUB_HDR_CARDS_PQ
