2nd Penfed Card

I applied today for the Penfed PCR and was instantly approved with a starting limit of $17,500. Can I also app for the Platinum? I did apply for their personal loan and got approved for $20k so I don't know if this will affect trying for the platinum?

I was approved for 3 cards totalling 50K in a two week period on 1 HP but that was in May 2017 so who knows with this finacial climate. I will say later on I opened up a PLOC but they told me they had to take 10K from my PCR that I had combined earlier into one 50K card which I agreed, so the 50K total credit was true for me atleast.

First off, congrats on the approvals. As for app'ing for the Platinum, you can try. At best you get approved, worst, denied, and middle ground is maybe they steal from your PCR to open the Platinum and in such a situation I believe they'll reach out to you first.

So I appd and received message saying they needed a color copy of my DL/SS and utility bill which I submitted. What do you think?

Don't get overly excited at this point but anytime you get past the LOL, NO stage with PenFed like you just did it's OK to be an optimist.

@Bolt78748 did you get approved? Same thing happened with me too.  They wanted my DL, SS, and utility bill.

Just chiming in because I remembered his other thread, it ended up being a no on the second card.
