7 months ago I opened 4 new cc including
Paypal MC 3%
Lowes store card
both are from sych. also 2 cards from commenity
I just need 2 more Cards to maximize rewards.
after that i plan on gardering for atleast 2 years.
This is what profile will be when applying.
TU FICO8- 758 INQ-2 AAoA- 5yr 7mo AoYA- 7mo
AoOA-16yr5mo(AU) without AU- 4years 11mo total util=8% income-138kyr
8 cc's individual
Plus 4 AU - No negatives on AU
AU- Macys-16yr 0/6500cl Kohls-16yr 0/3000cl
AU- UsBank-11yr 0/600cl Discover-5yr 0/14500cl
Negatives- 1- 30day late - 3yr5mo old.
Here are my options (which gives me the best chance of approval)
Ive had my paypal and lowes last 7 months, with
heavy usage and PIF for paypal. and lowes with 14%utilization with 25k limit.
My paypal MC only has a 300CL which i have been using and PIF twice a month. Im gonna call for SP CLI right before doing applications.
If they don't increase at all, then I will avoid applying for any of there CC's
Will the last 7 months of history with synch be good enough for approval for 3rd synch or would it look more negative and I should stay away from them?
I also have 2 commentity store cards with 7 months history. So same situation as synch, which bank fits my criteria.
Here's my list of potential cards for rewards=
Sam's Club MC (sych)- who do they pull?
will my paypal and lowes 7 months of on time
help being approved with a decent limit?
does club or plus membership help in any way?
FNBO evergreen- I did the Prequalify and it showed me 9600 cl but with the highest apr.
AAA Travel CC- (commenity) I also have have aaa
membership, dont know if that will help
Discover It- Shows multiple cards under preapproval
I was thinking Sams Club and Discover. Unless there is a better option or card for my profile.
Thank You all for the guidance. I will update the results after applications.
Take it easy with Synchrony and Comenity for now. Sure, after the 1 year mark or so, feel free to ask for increases, however they've been costing a HP with Comenity lately. FNBO pulled Experian for me, however that was a year ago. It doesn't look like you've gone too nuts recently so I'd think that and Disco is a good way to go. I can tell you this tho, those rewards add up on that FNBO card. The cut my wife's limit but have been solid for me. I love that friggin card.

Yes you are correct 805. A couple of months ago I requested a cli on my bread amex and they approved it for 2k, 6k-8k, but hit me with an HP.
Sam's Club pulls TransUnion as does most synchrony products as far as I know. You can earn quite a bit of cash back with their plus membership but I don't think it will help with approval.
I love my FNBO evergreen card. I definitely suggest this card. They give nice CLI's after four months, and it is easy to grow the credit line as well. GL.
Yeah I've only got one Comenity card left and I'm just trying to get it to $10k and no more soft pulls, so I figure I hit it once a year and see what happens.
For all the Tom-foolery with FNBO I still wanna poke them more 🤣 I initially waned to top it out at $25k but now that's its at $21 I'm a little frightened I must admit.

I think you will be just fine... I barely use my evergreen 14k to 19k to 24k year 1... I never carry, rarely report a balance. accordng to @M_Smart007 the hard pulls start at 25k

🤣 @805orbust!
Be careful synch gives and takes just as fast.

This is the main reason why I haven't applied for any Synch cards that don't offer special financing (like the PayPal Mastercard or Venmo Visa). I feel more secure doing business with the major banks (WF, Chase, Cap 1, etc.), and even Comenity.
Speaking of which, there are mixed DPs for Comenity doing a HP for recent CLIs. (@SUPERSQUID got one, and @CreditMagic7 and I didn't get a HP for CLI requests.) I don't know if @CreditMagic7's reports were frozen, but I know mine weren't (doh!).
Since Comenity has been unpredictable, maybe the key for @4yearsin is to freeze those reports before requesting a CLI and see what happens. If they deny your CLI and give a frozen report as the reason, you'll have your answer. Best case scenario, you'll get a CLI and no HP.

@LADaveYou can safely say that my reports WEREN'T either. Also since it was fresh on the heels of that same approval in the first place where they DID do a INQ on EX, they saw reports was still open and did the CLI via SP, Kinda of a hunch
