A new reason for Synchrony/PayPal application denial

I searched for the keywords online but couldn't find any other posts about this so figured I might share. 

I have been on a spree lately and decided to apply for a PayPal Credit Card last week anyways because it's a soft pull for a rejection so why not. Got the rejection message immditately and the letter today. The reasons listed are:

• Too many addresses in last 5 years (Yeah, I am on my fourth adress in 2 years of credit history but that's not really something I control)
• Too recent PayPal contact details (again, recently moved so new address 2 weeks ago)
• Too many inquiries (Fair enough)
• Recent revolving accunt (Also fair)

Like I said, the last two reasons are very much understandable but the first two aren't really in my control. If it matters, I also had a pending Synchrony/Verizon Credit Card application pending review at the time of my PayPal Credit Card application and that got approved today after a wait of about 2 weeks. 

Relevant Score: TU - 760 (likely VS 4? The letter doesn't specify)

Sorry about your denial. You can easily request the CB's remove old addresses from your CR. When making the request be sure to include a copy of your ID with your current address on it and a utility bill with your name and current address on it.

Thank you! I didn't know you could have your past addresses removed. I always thought that would be a factually incorrect claim because I did live at those addresses in the past. 

Regardless, I'm at 10 new CCs in the past 3 months so I'm just gonna take this as my sign to back off 😅

I had some fraud address removed years ago.  Didnt need any proof and was all handled over the phone.  EZ peezie
