A word about AmEx

I was prequalified for both the AmEx Everyday and  AmEx Blue Cash everday . Applied for the Everday and was immediatly approved for 2k SL. Went back and applied for a blue cash everyday and got a please call us message. Called in and the gentleman explained that the application was fine but when 2 apps are made the same day they flag the second one like its fraud and it freezes for 5 days. They told me to call back on wenseday and they will be able to process it. So word of advice, Don't Apply for 2 cards in the same day.

You applied for two revolvers the same day. Cant do that.  But you can apply for one revolver and if approved, you can immediately for a charge card and you will only be "charged" one HP

Does it work the other way? Applying for a charge card then a revolver? (I have a Amex Gold offer)

I may have read that the charge cards are easier to get, so more people app for them first and then app for the revolver in that same calendar day. 

YYMV, but it seems to be a very regular courtesy that they extend.

Depends... I tried kind of the reverse of this. Instant approval for PRG, 3-5 mins later submitted ED app (from pre-approved mailer) and that one was pending for 2 days.
